Question

Having read the article around Greggs I am now concerned around the food available from Ainsleys which you would concieve to be suitable for vegetarians.
Could you please clarify whether the Cheese and Onion/ Vegetable Pasties served at Ainsleys are are also prone to cross contamination with meats also served at their outlets.

In the Name of Allah, the Inspirer of Truth.
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Our verdict for Ainsley's is the same as for Gregg's.

Company Correspondence:

"Please be advised that we are not a blessed bakery and can therefore not be categorized as a Halaal proved bakery."

"We do unfortunately not use Halaal meat in our meat products.  Yes, we have non-meat products but they are not kept separate in transit or in shop."
