Question

is it permissible to use soy sauce Additional Information:
~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Mr *******
Thank you for your e mail.
Soy sauce does not contain added alcohol, however as the product is fermented, we cannot guarantee that minute traces of alcohol will not be formed during the soybean fermentation process.
The product is heated after fermentation which one would expect to drive off any alcohol traces but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this.
Thank you for your interest in our products.
Yours sincerely
In the Name of Allah, the Inspirer of Truth.
    Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Soy Sauce is permissible as it's not added alcohol but part of the fermentation process.
We would regard it as a condiment similar to vinegar.
