wa alaikum.
I would be very grateful if you could advise if the Sweetzone branded
sweets and confectionery products that are sold by many of the local
Muslim shops , are permissable for us to consume?

We understand that HMC certify Sweetzone products. HMC are a reliable and very circumspect 'Ulamaa co-ordinated organisation.
Kindly note however, that ONLY the products lines on the HMC Certificate are HMC Certified. Please check for suitability. For example, Sweetzone Marshmallows are not on the list.
Sweetzone Statement:
"We have recently had our factories that produce all of our jelly sweets, pencils, bulk jellies, bubblegum balls and chews certified by HMC – the certificate is below."
